You CAN have it all. The Chatsford Mug Infuser lets you brew leaf tea properly, but in your mug instead of in a teapot.
Most good quality tea is not suitable for putting in teabags – the leaves are too large. This goes for most of our teas here at All About Tea.co.uk. So if you have to use a teabag, you are severely limited in your choice of teas.
We know you can’t make a proper pot every time, no matter how much you may like to. You’re too busy. Anyway, you’re at work most of the day – where would you put a teapot? And you can never get the leaves out of the sink!
The solution is the Chatsford Mug Infuser. You simply pop the Infuser in your mug, put a spoonful of your favourite tea into it and pour on the water.
Because it works like a teapot, you can use any tea you like. And it brews properly, just like in a teapot, because the leaves have space to open fully and infuse completely.
When it is done, you can simply lift the Infuser out, tip the leaves in the bin, and gently rinse the Infuser – or just leave any remaining leaves to dry out.
The Infuser has the added advantage that it makes it ridiculously easy to re-use tea-leaves (most green and white teas can and should be used several times).
Take one into work with you, together with a couple of your favourite leaf teas. When you’re working hard there’s all the more reason to make your breaks a little bit special. As we always say, a little bit of everyday luxury goes a long way!
