Ethical Tea Partnership
ETP is funded by its members. ETP aims to improve the lives of tea workers and to ensure that tea drinkers can be confident that the tea in their cup has been produced under good social and environmental conditions.
ETP collaborates with a range of organisations to achieve these objectives. ETP has developed its own standard which is relevant for the tea industry, and which covers key social and environmental principles. Please click here for a copy. ETP has been organising the monitoring of estates in its members' supply chain for 12 years.
ETP's Regional Managers work with producers to address issues identified by monitors and support sustainability improvements. As well as organising its own monitoring of estates, ETP works with certification programmes operating in the tea sector to facilitate third-party certification where this is of interest to producers and ETP members.
